We as of right now have no openings for Thunder on The Strip. Were booked out for the next 4 years.
If one or more of the nights you would like to stay are showing as unavailable, please give us a call. We can try to accommodate your stay.

Noise Policy
-
Quiet hours in Geneva-on-the-Lake begin at 12:00 A.M.. Please keep outside noise to a minimum at that time.
-
Weekends can be lively with nearby live bands. Our location is in the heart of a tourist-friendly area that hosts frequent events.
-
During Thunder on the Strip, our road is used for bike burnouts, and noise levels can be high between Noon–6:00 P.M.
-
We have a zero-tolerance policy for excessive noise or disruptions. If complaints are made, you may be asked to leave immediately without refund—no exceptions. We are committed to keeping all guests comfortable and safe.
Damages & Guest Responsibility

We reserve the right to charge your credit card for damages or excessive cleaning after your stay.
-
Please report any issues within 20 minutes of arrival to avoid being held responsible.

All maintenance and cleaning are completed before your arrival to ensure everything is in working order.

Guests are expected to supervise their group. Any property damage or theft—indoors or outdoors—will result in additional charges.

Do not move or take indoor furniture outside.
Appliance Use & Service
-
Occasionally, appliances such as TVs, air conditioners, or others may malfunction. We will restore service as quickly as possible.

Refunds will not be given for temporary loss of appliances or utilities.
-
Power outages or service disruptions caused by Acts of Nature are outside our control and not grounds for refund.
Cleaning & Trash
-
Guests staying 6 or more days must take trash out on Sunday night. Position the bin so the arrow faces the street.
-
A cleaning checklist will be provided on the refrigerator. Help us keep our cottages tidy for all families to enjoy.
Smoking Policy
-
All cottages are NON-SMOKING indoors.
-
Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Use the wall-mounted cigarette dispensers.
-
Do not dispose of cigarette butts indoors—violations will result in a $250 cleaning fee charged to your card.
Payment & Deposit Information

Payment Schedule

50% deposit due at time of booking (non-refundable)

Final payment & $100 security hold due 14 days prior to arrival

$100 security hold will be released 3 days after check-out if no damage occurs

This is a hold, not a charge. Unless their damage or excessive cleaning take place.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

If you pay in full and cancel at least 14 days before your stay, you’ll receive a 50% refund

Cancellations made within 14 days are non-refundable

Dog Policy
-
Dog Fee: $35.00 per dog
-
Dog Limit: Maximum of 2 dogs, each up to 65 pounds (Service dogs are exempt)

Please raise the blinds if you leave your dog alone in the cottage.
Dog-Friendly Property Guidelines
-
We welcome well-behaved dogs only. If your dog is reactive to other pets, noises, or crowds, please make alternative arrangements.

Barking Policy: Continuous barking is not allowed. If a complaint is received, you’ll receive one warning. A second complaint may result in immediate eviction.

Clean up all pet waste from the yard. Doggie bags and a dedicated dog waste bin are provided.
-
No other pets allowed—dogs only. No cats or other animals.
-
You are financially responsible for any damages or excessive cleaning due to your pet.
Excessive Cleaning Fee: $250.00

If your dog sheds heavily, please do not allow them on the beds. Bring your own comforter or blanket.

Please clean up and sweep any dog hair.
-
No wet dogs are allowed inside the cottage.

Parking

🚗 Parking Policy – Please Read Carefully

Each reservation includes one parking pass for one vehicle only.
-
You may purchase one additional parking pass prior to check-in only. Upon booking you can choose extras to purchase please do so at that time.

Additional guest vehicles must park on the strip if a second pass is not secured in advance.

Vehicles without a valid parking pass will be towed.

Guest parking is located across the street in the lot marked: KCD Cozy Cottages Parking Only (look for the purple lights)
-
Do not park on the grass, in the street, or on neighboring properties.

Please ensure vehicles do not block the driveway or guest parking lot.

🚙 Owner Vehicle Notice You may see the owner's vehicle parked in the driveway. This may be a Honda Pilot, Chevy Blazer, or another vehicle displaying a visible parking pass.
Drop-Off Area

The blacktop driveway is for 15-minute drop-offs only

🧺 Laundry Services
We do not offer on-site laundry facilities. However, the nearest laundromat is conveniently located at Indian Creek Campsite, just a short drive away.
Before You Leave

Please double check your belongings—we are not responsible for lost or left items. Anything left behind will be discarded

On hot days, please leave the air conditioning units turned on

Your safety and the safety of our team is a top priority—we follow all federal, state, and local health regulations

If you're feeling unwell prior to your visit, we kindly ask that you reschedule your stay

We thoroughly sanitize after each visit, focusing on high-touch areas like light switches and door handles
